yathā krīḍopaskarāṇāṁ

saṁyoga-vigamāv iha

icchayā krīḍituḥ syātāṁ

tathaiveśecchayā nṛṇām  [SB 1.13.43]

“As a player sets up and disperses his playthings according to his own sweet will, so the supreme will of the Lord brings men together and separates them.”

Today, i reflect on all the good association I was put in by the grace of the good God.

The human form of life is a rare chance for us to really understand our purpose and re-establish our loving relation with Krsna.

Sometimes we are put into places that we don’t really like, and sometimes in surroundings that nurture our growth beyond limits.

In all situations, Krsna is directing us toward making ourselves better than before, more spiritually stronger than before and with deeper insights than before.

Although, we may try to follow along the plans of God to the best of our abilities, there is sometimes a stark difference in our plans and the Supreme’s. And only by associating with the saintly do we gather the courage to walk the road less taken and surrender to the will of lord.

In the end, learning from the unfavorable situations, and feeling indebted to all the well wishers that happened to be around for whatever moments we could spend together. I can only pray to always associate with the devotees wherever I may be.
